Sorry, I couldn't find an ork forum, so this is the closest to the list I could find, sort of  ???
I have a question about the weapons that can be swapped with the bigger gunz upgrade, which allows a weapon to be swapped by a Kustom Gargant Weapon, the file says a weapon from the list below but there are  no weapons list, either in version 1.6 or 2.0, can somebody tell me what is this list? is clear that scorchas and big gunz are out of the question, but is that it or are there more limitations? common sense points towards yes.

Its not as clear as it can be but the intent is that weapons on the list (the long lst of Kustom Weapons) can be swapped for one another.

So if you have a Gargant with a Soopa Gun you can swap it for a Gatling Kannon. Onl weapons that are on that list are eligible to be swapped

By the way, the question is because Phindar and me will be playing soon a mega game of AMTL vs OBGM with 6,000 points plus an imperator and a mega-gargant, I'll post a BR when we do (couple of weeks).

While I agree with PG, it makes me wonder:

A mekk can upgrade any big gun to a soopa gun. ?A soopa gun is in the list of custom gargant guns.

So, ?a mekk could upgrade a big gun to a custom gargant weapon other than a soopa gun.

After all, a mekk can upgrade a big gun to a super heavy weapon. ?But the limitation is that this weapon can not be carried/transported/powered by anything smaller than a gargant.

What I think is that the smallest gargant weapons are soopaguns and therefor they can be transported/powered ?by infantry and small vehicles while the bigger weapons can only be set on a gargant.

But the ability of the mekk to upgrade a gun is there, ?for any weapon.

Let me give one example:
a krawler comes with 2 megachoppas and some big gunz.
If I wanted to make it more shooty, I could replace one mega choppa (included in the list) for one Zzap gun.
But, ?for the same cost, ?I could upgrade one big gun to a Zzap gun and keep the 2 megachoppas as this option is there for any gargant or nongargant unit.

So, being a gargant, it makes sence that you are not tied with a soopa gun or Zzap gun but that you can replace it with any weapon. ?

Anyways, ?I think that the previous list had a better wording and that it was clear that you could only swap ?weapons from the list.

Its a balance issue. Its also there to avoid having to determine how many Big Guns a Soopa Gun is worth

No, that's not correct.

The "soopa gun" option for big Meks replaces a Big Gun with a Soopagun or SupaZzap.

The "bigga gunz" option for Big Meks replaces a Gargant weapon with a Kustom Weapon.  It could probably stand editorial cleanup but the weapons which can be swapped for Kustom weapons are defined:
Only weapons from this list can be swapped for a Kustom Gargant Weapon. Big Gunz, Scorcher Turrets or other weapons cannot be swapped for a Kustom Gargant Weapon.

Upgrading a Big Gun is limited to the Soopa and Supazzap.  Any other upgrade requires a gargant weapon to exchange, not a Big Gun.

Nope.

Most estimates are in the ~1300 point range, but opinions vary widely.  There is discussion ongoing about how to handle rules for extra-large WEs.
