I was wondering what could work as a knight proxy.  I've been thinking that termies might do it, but I'm not sure if they can be made to look like giant robots, rather than termies.

Does anyone have any better ideas?

The DRM Andrayada have some suitable models I think. I know I'll be replacing some of my own knights with these eventually.

Velites, Vorace, Vergers seem to be around the right size and have a knightly feel to them. I'm sure someone posted a comparison on here before.

I think Necron legs with Terminator torsos might work?

That'd give the same kind of top-heavy appearance as the Titans?

Make sure to give them 'normal' space marine helmets too, for the proper knight-type head.

You just gave me an idea.  What about necron immortals?

they are top heavy tin men.

I'd probably still go replacing bits and bobs... otherwise he just looks like he's wandered in from the wrong game system. :)

I was thinking of marine helmet, replace the gun with inbuilt weapons and increase the spread on the toes, so they look like the warhound's feet.

also I might use some of FW brass etched imperial eagles to imperialise them.

Hi Guys,

Some of the best knight proxies ever came from that Scandinavian game with the giant robots... forgot the name... the game is OOP now.

The minis were great though... even had the right styling for knights. I traded for mine from a Southern Californian gentleman and bought a few later second-hand.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Maksim, if you are refering to Ronin War by Cell Entertainment, then I agree most whole heartedly.  They are perfect Knight Proxies.  I have a number of them myself.
