Post subject: | Question regarding knights |
Since I got secured myself full set of Imperial(and eldar) knights I have got my interest on them sparked up(obviously ![]() There seems to be Baron, errant, lancer, paladin, crusader and castellan knights. However the set(which seller mentioned contained all the knights though of course that information might be incorrect) only contained metal paladins, lancers and wardens. a) where's wardens in the AMTL list? b) are baron, errant, crusader and castellans new knights to which you hope SG makes models or what? Also as a bonus question: c) is errants thermal cannon really worth the superior assault ability of lancer...You have priced them equal but frankly thermal cannon doesn't seem worth that much for what is effectively assault unit. |

Sorry to disappoint you, but it looks like you haven't got a full set of Imperial Knights... ![]() Have a look HERE for some pictures of the various type of Knights. The Wardens are older models which (I think) won't get any stats. The Paladins are the "regular" Knights, while the others are variant knights (assault, support, etc.). |

I believe wardens are in the list but as a 'count as' entry - though I can't remember what All those knights are metal OOP models - the Crusader and Castellan are very similar- some minor differences and a different weapon arm, errants are a bit smaller with a power fist. Both errants and either crusaders or castellans are featured in the latest painting batch posted by Primarch (i think in the epic 6mm forum). All the knights are in the epicomms Imperial model PDF - I dont have a link though I am sure somebody can supply it. I haven't used Lancers yet but i have found errants quite useful in formations of 6 in and around titan support - assaulting and bringing in the titan as FF support |

Wardens are only used on the Knights homeworld. They don't leave the planet. |

tneva - as previously stated, all the Knights (bar the Wardens) feature in the army list. The Wardens are in the Collector's Models section, and I believe count as Leman Russ MBTs. |

Correct. Stuff of Legends doesn't have the SM2/TL era minis. Unfortunately, EpiCollector only has the AT era knights also. Try looking in De'Aynes Gallery. There might be some TL era knights there. |

Sorry. Didn't check the collectors section. My bad. Though main curiosity was the oddball knights solegend didn't know(that+seller claiming set contained all knights caused bit of "what are these" effect when reading the AMTL list). Ah well. Search continues(atleast knights haven't proven to be such hard models to find like Ordinatus, Warmonger etc. And they say nothing worthwhile ever comes easy ) ![]() |
