In early editions of Epic/TL there where Titans with less weapons. That are Warlords and Reavers with only 2 arm weapons and no carapace weapons. Couldn't this be an option for the AMTL-list as well? They could be made cheaper (and thus free points for more fomrations = activations). |

That can be done by swapping out weapons for an Icon or Devotional Bell. I doubt that it would work with the points rebate for less weapons option, as the chasis still has a certain potency (in assult and resilience). |

My TLs, include a number of the old AT1/SM1 Nightgaunt, Eclipse, etc. ... We will have them cost less just like in "the old days" ! ![]() ![]() |

Yes, but a Nighgaunt has no devotional bell. So it should cost less. Say 100pts cheaper for a Warlord without carapace weapons und 50pts cheaper for a Reaver without carapace weapon. It would give more flexibility and free up points. |

We've been using activation since we started playing Epic in '90 (it took G/W years to figure out this is a better system !). Don't get wrapped up in who has more activations, that has nothing to do with tactics, but playing with rule mechanics. Come up with a plan and activate units to support that plan. Remain flexible and it's not the commander who does the most things right that wins but who does the least things wrong ! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Legion 4, thats one of the great things about the game. You can adjust it to suit your groups preferences. However, for the GT list I don't think its worth trying to balance titans with less than normal weapon loadout. |

Hi! I was never very found of AT's fitting warlord chassi with less than 4 weapons, looked like a waste of an armored hull. I think for standard games its best to standarize weapons at 4. Primarch |

You should start running councelling and rehab group sessions for GW Fan-Boyz who, after having spent their whole youth playing 40k, reach the age where they become "veterans" and thus spurned by the company they love. You know the ones: they pick up fantatsic models and all they can say is "he shouldnt have a 3rd grenade on his web-belt because you havent paid for it" or "The trim on that Honour mark should be in purple not green because Codex XXX page XX says..." Such people are in dire need of rehabilitation and a modicum of L4's good sense! ![]() |
