Does anyone have much experience using the melta cannon and/or CCW and how they use them? They look super lethal but it feels like they may have issues actually applying all that potential due to range. They look like they could be a real deterrent or you could potentially double/triple them up to enemy objectives and just dare them to take them back. IDK.

The other question for me is whether I would be better off using volcano cannons to apply TK shots instead. Seems safer and more reliable.

I often use a reaver with CCW, Laser Burner, and a Melta Cannon. It is a good short range / engagement titan, particularly against other titans.

I often play on quite dense, terrain heavy, boards so having reavers that can comfortably sit in the middle of the table and threaten the enemy is quite useful.

Not saying it is the best load-out, just feels nice and fluffy, and relatively useful in game.

This is usally my BTS, serves right so far.

Of course it is very risky to get your BTS so far in the enemy's half of the table. With enough cover it is possible and worth the risk. He is the guy who kills other titan-equivalents and stuck in the other half. Yesterday it killed a squat cyclops in FF. Was quite enyoing, because it is really hard to get into this squat shooting castle.
