Hi. I'm brand new (well, I did get Titanicus for Xmas in 1988 or so, but never got to play it). So I'm trying to build up an army or two via eBay and flailing pretty good, but Titans seem cheap. So AdMech it is.

Are there weapons that I'm not allowed to use in NetEA? See here:

http://www.solegends.com/citcat911/c211 ... rts-01.htm

Corvus Assault pod no longer transports Terminators? Trident is in the AdMech list but not the Tournament Pack? Are all Close Combat Weapons essentially the same?

Shouldn't these weapons be available to all Titans, regardless of ally/AdMech status?

Vortex Missile? Titan Multiple Rocket Launcher? Barrage Missile Launcher? Harpoon Missile? Warp Missile? Or are all missiles treated as "Support Missile" under the Tournament Pack costs on p166? Fire Control Platform/Tower? Deathstrike Cannon? Devotional Bell?

EDIT: Devotional Bell seems to have rules in the AdMech "approved" list, but not in the NetEA approved list, and certainly not in the Tournament Pack. I'm getting more and more confused as to what I can and can not put on my brand new Titans that I just bought.

Welcome!

Corvus: It probably can transport Termies, but none of the lists it's part of have terminators in them right now so there's no purpose in saying it can. You can just have termies count as Praetorian Combat Servitors.

CC weapons: There are collectors stats for some of the older ones like the trident but the all basically fall under the simplified Titan CC weapon. You can use any model you want for that.

The missiles all fall under the Support missile group. The different warheads are selected as part of the support missile. The barrage and multiple rocket are basically the Apoc Rocket Launcher.

Just note collector weapons aren't approved for tournament play but you are more than welcome to use them in friendly games.

Thanks for clarifying the missile rules. And bohoo on the collectors weapons, I thought everything that was a GW-supported model/special weapon or rule would be included by default.

Sorry to jump all into this but Oathed, 90% of those "collector" items you mention have not been supported by GW since the mid 90's, hence why they're not core to the list and there for "friendly play", not tournament games.

And how about playing a game or two of E:a and then tell us what you think of the list and the different weapon loadouts?

Would be nice to hear how your actual gaming experience using the list was! It has not been approved for long so it's good to get feedback on it from people who use it in their E:a games.
