So, whos actually playing the AM lists?

I've done 3 battle reports with the Skittari so far, and will do 3 more before January is finished.
Is anyone else planning to play the list? Will Vaiish be doing any battle reports?

When I've done my 6 reports with e Skittari i will move on to AMTL. I want that list to be approved again, even if Vaiish wants to wait with that for a while. We got a tournament coming up late in January so 3 out of 6 reports will be done that day. So my 6 needed reports should be done before Febuary is ended.

After that I'm all for playing with the Catapratchii (or however that is spelled) list since i think it's a really, really cool idea! I'm working hard on getting models for all the units and have promised myself to have a complete painted army before i get to play with it.

This post is not made to honk my own horn. I'm really interested in e development of theese lists! And I know that theres more Epic AM fans out there. maybe we can do a combined effort with theese lists that can set an example for the rest of the Development sections here?

Who have the armies needed to play the lists? Who is up for doing 6 battlereports in 3 months?

And finally, when we're finished with getting theese lists ((Skittari, AMTL and Catapratchii) approved which we should manage before the summer. I'm actually a little bit interested in taking on the Knight list and trying to get it to work. I own about 30 knight models and really like them!

I've just about got a painted skittari force, but I'm still putting together the avengers and sagittari, which is where the testing is meant to be.
Had a couple of games so far, looking to take them to the Bristol winter warmer in jan to complete the set of playtests.

Yes, I will be doing battle reports. I've done a few already but they are mostly battle summaries for specific units and they are in the list threads. Mine probably aren't as useful though since I've been doing single formation analysis more than full army analysis.

Just a note, Skitarii and Cataphractii are still a ways from needing the 6 final reports for approval. I've still got concerns with the Ordinatus and some combinations are completely untested like chimedon equipped demi-centuries or sagitarii without the rapier upgrade. (I've almost considered dropping the gun servitors entirely and just having the unit come packaged with rapiers by default.)

Hmmm... I thought the Skitarii list had development status? I'm not to keen on maki g battlereports that won't lead to list getting approved. I have been pretty vocal about the need to get the ball rolling in that departement! So if the batreps I've one for the Skitari won't count towards the 16 needed for approved then I'll stop playing them until that gets going.

Will AMTL batreps help that list get approved?

I really like the idea of dumping the gun servitors. I see no point in using them and will always upgrade to rapiers.

Developmental status doesn't mean its ready for approval. It just means there isn't likely to be any major changes to the list structure or units included in the list. Your battle reports might not be usable for the final push, but they are infinitely valuable to making sure the list can get approved. Don't feel they aren't worth anything and step playing!

There are uses for gun servitors since taking them lets you use chimedons with sagitarii. But again its a pretty untested combination.
