I've played AMTL a lot, and with magnetized weapons I try to field something different each time I play. But, a sort of baseline competitive 3K list would look like this: Warlord, 2x QC, Deathstrike, CLP, CML, Legate [1050] Warlord, Laser Blaster, Volcano Cannon, 2x AMRL, CML, Veteran Princeps [950] Warhound, Plasma, TLD [300] Warhound, Vulcan, TLD [300] Sentinels [100] Thunderbolts [150] Thunderbolts [150] Moving up to 4K, I'd just add Reaver, TCCW, Plasma Cannon, Vulcan, Veteran [650] Marauders [250] Sentinels [100] |

There's got to be more folks out there playing AMTL, I really do need you guys to post lists so I can get a picture of what's being taken and what isn't. Vaaish, I usually can't fit the titans I want to take AND get sufficient activations for being competitive in my local gaming group, so I usually reserve my AMTL for 4K and greater games. Therefore, I'm not sure how useful this is, but I try to fit as much of this into a 4-5K list as possible: Standard Warlord + Legate + CML Warlord with plasma destructor, laser blaster, 2xTLD's Standard Reaver OR FW Reaver (apoc missile launcher, volcano cannon, gatling blaster) Warhounds (mostly pairs with inferno/TLD combo; sometimes the standard config.) T-bolts (esp. if I'm only taking 1-2 CML's) Forge knights & sentinels to take up the remaining points |

Thansk, 3k lists are more helpful because it shows what people are willing to cut to get their list playable. But any point value is useful since it shows what options are and are not being taken. |

Whilst it has been a while since I last played AMTL here is what I would pick up tomorrow for a game. Reaver - 2x Las Blasters & Las Burner Reaver - 2x VMB & PBG + Legate Reaver - 2x VMB & PBG Warhound - VMB & PBG Warhound - VMB & PBG Warhound - VMB & PBG Thunderbolts Thunderbolts The idea is to maximise shooting and ground activations whilst still providing some air cover. Although I might be tempted to drop one of the Warhounds and play with 2 Sentinel formations, add CML and a Vet Prencips |

I'm putting together an Emperor-class theme list. I'll probably take: Imperator with Legate (1250+50) Warmonger with Sacred Icon (1250+25) Scratch the Marauders; pondering Forge Knights and perhaps some Thunderbolts. |

Ok, I need to preface this by mentioning I haven’t yet used this list in a game, but I’ve been thinking over TL lists while buying up a load of titan models and weapons recently and this what I think I’d like to use for my first 3k game within hopefully a month or two. It seems to be a bit different to what the rest of you are using, but I hope it’d work (particularly for the Warhounds which will have mostly fixed glued in place weapons, rather than the magnets on the rest). WARLORD TITAN [800] BTS Carapace Multi-Lasers, 3 Laser Burner, Close Combat Weapon REAVER TITAN [725] Carapace Multi-Lasers, Plasma Blastgun, 2 Laser Blaster WARHOUND TITAN PACK [500] 3 Inferno Gun, Vulcan Megabolter WARHOUND TITAN PACK [525] 3 Plasma Blastgun, Turbolaser Destructor RECON PLATOON [100] 4 Sentinels RECON PLATOON [100] 4 Sentinels RECON PLATOON [100] 4 Sentinels GOTHIC CLASS CRUISER [150] 1 Gothic Class Cruiser Comments/thoughts: I will place my two objectives 30cm apart near to my end of my opponents table edge and quickly send my Warlord up to grab them. If it gets there it then denies DTF and Blitz and goes for T&H, forcing my opponent to deal with it or have an uphill struggle with victory conditions. I dare my opponent to assault it considering it can put out a maximum of 23 attacks. I’ve always wanted to take pairs of titans, to save points and get more titans in, but that’s doubly so now that a single Warhound causes God Machines blast markers. I don’t understand why most TL lists don’t take a Gothic Cruiser, as 2 2+ TK (D3) attacks anywhere on the table for 150 seems like a very good bargain. It would be particularly useful early first turn vs an otherwise nasty IG army with 2 Shadowswords. I’d ideally run the Plasma Warhounds with one with 2 PBG, one with 2 TLD, but I ran out of points and had to cut back. With these the thinking is that the plasma could get unleashed turn 1 (ideally) and be upfront to take hits rather than the more expensive TLD hound. Turn 2 Plasma hound would go to the back, not able to fire but hopefully within range so able to be suppressed rather than the LTD hound. Lastly, you mentioned using a Warhound Titan Pack in the list in your 2012 post Vaaish but not all the weapons used on them. Could you specify for those of us that are curious? |

Hey Glyn, the Gothic really just doesn't perform. Against guard you might get some utility against the unshielded war engines but a d3 hardly reliable kills to use a support slot on especially since you get a higher activation count and aa with the thunderbolts for the same cost and amtl hardly has difficulty with fielding tk weapons. I'll be curious how that warlord performs. If your opponent is savvy he'll for certain you to split the objectives, take out the sentinels and leave you scrambling for activations. I have to say despite following the surcharge rules, the war hound packs are really quite gaming the system. I probably should change it to each titan rather than formation to clear that up. I was using the pbg and vmb on each titan in the pack |

I was going through this list looking for ideas, and I notice that the Warlord isn't used very often. Is this still the case? It's funny, because the Reaver is intended to be more rare, while the Warlord is comparatively more common. |
