Round Two of Voting garnered 40 hands in the air, and resulted in two popular choices, with support levels of 40%, and 45%.

The third option only had 15% support in Round Two, and so has been dropped from Round Three.

We are now left with two options. We will now vote to find the most popular of the two, after which a final round of voting will be held contesting the final winner with the "no change" option.

So...

OPTION ONE
Quote:
Critical Hit Effect: The Warhound's Plasma reactor has been damaged. Roll a D6 for the Warhound in the end phase of every turn: on a roll of 1 the reactor explodes destroying the Warhound, on a roll of 2-3 the Warhound suffers one more point of damage, and on a roll of 4-6 the reactor is repaired and will cause no further trouble. If the reactor explodes, any units within 5cms of the Warhound will be hit on a 6+.

OPTION TWO
Quote:
Critical Hit Effect: A secondary explosion causes further damage to the Warhound, and it loses 1 point of Damage Capacity

At this point, I think a "no change" option should be provided.
While I accept the view that there may be a 'mandate' for change, a straight choice does not provide a view how strong the vote for either proposal actually is. Adding the 'null' vote allows people to express their choice more accurately

Vote for efficiency and clarity, vote proposition 2!

(option 1 is extra book-keeping and an extra dice roll)

I am going to disagree on this one for the following reason:

As the polls continue, disinterest settles in. Those campaigning for no change (especially if they purposely hang around for these things) then have a stronger presence as the numbers decrease on votes.

Simply stating that there is an acceptance for a mandate for change is enough to warrant the two examples without the 'null' vote. Too often things take too long due to procrastination. Do away with the fence sitting and let's get change underway.

So what happens if in the Final Voting Round (Decided Change and No Change) 'No Change' is the winner or a clear majority isn't found? Then do we start it all over again? With No Change Option all the way? I've been voting all along but when the last round comes I'll vote No Change like in the OT thread. I've been forced to to choose the lesser of two evil (Feels like CA Politics LOL).

Well those in the minority always want a bigger voice than what is warranted to them. They are usually the loudest as well

There will be a "no change" option for the final round.

Well that will just mean that those people that like Warhounds will just wait for the final poll to vote.

It would be sad that after 3 (or more) polls dedicated to changing the Warhound critical (purely due to player feedback), that "no change" could be a final decision.

I will not propose any change without unambiguous, majority, support from the community, and that is that.

i personally will be waiting for the final vote to vote for "Change"
because i have no particular opinion on any of the changes, except that the current crit is a joke, and it should go.
