What to do with the Warhound Critical Hit Effect
Leave it as it is. 18%  18%  [ 7 ]
Change it to use the standard Imperial Titan Critical Hit Effect chart. 23%  23%  [ 9 ]
Change it to do a single point of damage automatically. 23%  23%  [ 9 ]
Change it to instantly destroy the Warhound. 33%  33%  [ 13 ]
Something else (Explain below) 5%  5%  [ 2 ]

Along with the debate thread, I'd like to get a rough show of hands on this topic too.

So, vote what you'd like to happen with Warhound Titan Critical Hit effects in the AMTL list, and possibly beyond too.


Note that any change in CHE would not preclude further changes in points cost for this, or other lists, to further refine levels of balance.

My preference is Critical - void shield generator destroyed. The titan loses the ability to have void shields.

This is a straw poll to guage the wind, and is not a final vote.

As the chap who was asked to look after the NetEA's Titans (As in, I didn't set myself up as AMTL AC and take on the role by dint of nobody else being interested) my duty is to look after the best interests of the list as I see it.

Ooooh, the power... anyone fancy DC9 Warlord Titans? :-p

If this isn't conclusive (i.e. more than 50% want one), I'd recommend a run-off.

Roll a die for every Warhound in your army list at the start of the game, it's Critical Hit Effect for the rest of the game will be determined by the following chart:

1: Use the Warhound critical hit language from the rulebook.
2: Use the Reaver critical hit language from the rulebook.
3: The Warhound takes a single point of damage.
4: The Warhound is instantly destroyed.
5: Your opponent chooses an effect from this thread.
6: You choose an effect from this thread.
