Here's AMTL 3.14, the core iteration I intend to put forwards for inclusion in the ERC Armybook as a NetERC Official Armylist. The list will have to stand unchanged (in the armybook, if not Tactical Command) for at least a year.

Let's catch the typos and errors before the upload, shall we? :))


Latest Version : Version 3.14


Changes for version 3.14:

- Increased cost of Cruiser from 150 to 200pts
- Restricted the Veteran Princeps Upgrade to 0-1 per formation (prevents Warhound Pairs both being Veterans).
- Removed the Carapace Multi-laser's ability to shoot at ground based targets.
- Made the document more printer-friendly.



I've also re-worked the structure of the document so that if you don't want to carry all the various pages around with you there are two fairly comprehensive reference sheet pages (With thanks to Vaaish for the idea).

And the Lunar Cruiser is still there, page 12, in title of the AM Cruiser text.
About cruiser, the profile, page 12 is "Adeptus Mechanicus Gothic Class Cruiser", but in the army lists, it tells about "Adeptus Mechanicus Cruiser".

I like the new presentation of the document.
Correcting the last typos, adding pictures and the last unit texts, and hop : the final AMTL list will be 'finalised' ? ;)

Ah yes, I came across comments on the French ERC forum about the Carapace multilasers and thought it made sense.

About Multilasers, yes, there are suppose to point air, not ground.

And anyway, I never managed to get a hit with my Carapace Multilasers (out of range, or simply out of my dices capacity). So the loose of AP/AT is not a drama to me.

About the AM Cruiser, why the +50pts ?

Eldar Wraith Ship is 150pts, 2 pin-points attacks or an orbital bombardment (choice at deploiement phase), and comes with a Strategic Rating of 4 (3 for Saim-Hann).
So why the AM Cruiser is more expensive despites having no weapon choice and a worse Strategic Rating ?

Typos corrected and file updated, no version change nessesary as nothing has changed that actually affects the army list.

About the AM Cruiser, why the +50pts ?

Chroma convinced me that they are too good at 150pts, at the least they're better than the Lunar Class Cruiser, which would tend to imply it should cost more than a Lunar Class Cruiser...

Well I admit Wraithships worth more than their 150pts.
But they are better than a Gothic class cruiser (Strategy Rating and weaponnery choice).

And "too good at 150pts" could means "fine at 175pts", no ?

It could do, but the list has to stand for at least a year untouched as part of the ERC Armybook project, and I'd rather err on the side of '25pts too expensive' than '25pts too cheap'.

Underpowered units don't cause much hard feelings, but overpowered units annoy people!

Oh, I remember a background thing : since the Heresy, there are no more "Legion" of titans. Like Space Marines Legions were split into Chapters, Titan Legions were split into Ordos.

So the list should be name War Gryphons Titan Ordo.

Looks pretty good, but now I have to update my reference sheet again. I thought I'd finally gotten everything corrected and in there... ah well.

With note to typo's, the Arc Mechanicus still lists the firepower for the orbital bombardment in the range column.

Also with the recent situation with forgeworld. How will this be affecting the list since the future of several of the models is not certain. Even though the list has other units without models, it is worth considering what to do about these as well.

Since I did paint everything up as Legio Gryphonnicus, just ask if you need pics of a model.

I'm definitely keeping an eye on the situation, especially for the Skitarii army list.

Since I did paint everything up as Legio Gryphonnicus, just ask if you need pics of a model.

One of each Titan class please, even Emperors if you have them!

On a plain background colour so I can cut them out please.

I have no emperors, I can't abide the model and so cannot justify the expense in acquiring one. I'll get the other shots sometime, probably next week. The knight paladins aren't in war griffons colors, but I have an extra if you want them painted to match. Is gray an acceptable background?
