Well I've just acquired two old reaver titan so I've not got a slew of weapons for them. What I'm planning on doing is outfitting these guys to screen my warlords and generally just be really annoying at dishing out bucket load of pain in the form of uninvited friends to assault parties. To that end I've outfitted one for primarily FF and CC duties and the other for AP duties. since I'm not overly fond of magnetizing titans and I'm planning on painting them up for next weeks project, I thought I'd post to get some thoughts on the load outs. I have the following parts: 3x melta cannon or inferno gun 3x Vulcan megabolter 2x plasma blast gun 2x turbolaser destructor 2x missile pod and I've come up with this for them: both weighing in at 675 points: Reaver 1 vet princeps melta cannon laser burner apoc launcher Reaver2 vet princeps 2x vulcan megabolter apoc launcher sacred icon If the piece is actually the inferno gun, I might just go with this as an alternative setup: Reaver 1 vet princeps Inferno gun laser burner apoc launcher Sacred Icon |

The only change that I would suggest is to Reaver 2. I'd take the launcher off and add a gatling blaster to get more direct shots from the Reaver. |

I accidentally listed the megabolters as gatling blasters in my list of weapons available. ![]() It's pretty easy to do, actually. after much thought, I'm at a bit of a conundrum. I'm debating leaving the cc reaver like this: Reaver 1 vet princeps Inferno gun laser burner apoc launcher Sacred Icon to give it a bit of a ranged punch to up the BP as well as the FF/CC boost. Alternatively I'm very much tempted to go all out with 2x laser burners and the apoc launcher to get it up to 14 CC attacks, my only problem with this is I'm afraid that it will make it easy for an opponent to avoid making it of little use. That's been my experience so far. CC oriented Titans can be difficult to bring into CC and you end up not getting back the points you invested in them. |

So then I guess I'll be going with the original plan and putting on the inferno gun... should help up the BP enough for a little boost to make it almost as good as a megabolter. |
