Discussion topics for moving towards 3.11 :

- Our Knight will be introduced.
- Anything else arising from the changes / intrductions above.

Shouldn't the Las Burner be Arm mounted only?

Because a power fist on the Carapace looks entirely silly?

To me CC-Weapons should only be allowed to arm weapon mounts. And for me the Las Burner falls in this cathegory.

If in doubt, I'll plump for not imposing extra restrictions.

Unless there's a driving balance reason, I'm not convinced that the lasburner needs to be restricted to the arms.

Well...Titans are already FF-Monsters. Giving them weapons which increase their FF attacks makes them very dreadful in assaults. Reaver with three Las Burners (18 FF3+ attacks)? Warlord with 4 Las Burners (24 FF3+ attacks)?

If you can prove that this affects game balance, I'd be happy to look at this area more closely. At the moment I don't think it is as big an issue as introducing our Knight, for example.

PS: A Reaver with 3x Lasburners has 12 FF3+ attacks, and a Warlord with 4x Lasburners has 16 FF3+ attacks.

Oops sorry switched the CC with the FF bonus :D Bu nevertheless it is an impressiv amount of relatively easy hitting dice.

But it seems i have to err....play with myself to playtest.

True, but if you take that many CC weapons, you've sacrificed all capability for long range fire.

I also see no reason to limit the Las Burner to arm mount only. The only CC weapons that I can think of that should be limited to arm mounts only are Power Fist, Power Saw and Chain Fist.

It looks like you bumped the Quattro Sentri back up to a demi as well, was that intentional?

Yes it was, I  forgot to note it.

I can only comment on the background related parts with any certainty, so I have two real points:

-In the Titan list, a quattro-century is nine skitarii units. In the Infantry list, a demi-century is nine units. Perhaps a typo?

-Oh, and tech-lord is a bit ambiguous. I would have gone for Magos Mandati or Militant, but tech-lord does sound quite good. TBH, I'll fit whatever you put into the list into my rank resource regardless. :D

On general comments:
Tribune is gone (when it left, I don't know; I only poke my head in here every once in a while) - which is a shame, because it was recently put into Dark Heresy: Inquisitor's Handbook as a rank for a tech-priest militant, along with a few other ranks, as part of the Auxillia Myrmidon (what seems to be a tech-priest storm-troop-cum-officer corps):
-Secutor - siege engineers
-Myrmidon - vehicle/heavy weapons related? Noted to be part of the Ordo Reductor, the siege corps who had "siege dreadnoughts"
-Centurius/on - warrant officer equivalent?
-Tribune - lieutenant?
-Magnus - captain equiv?
-Magos Militant - leader of a Skitarii Legion, presumably

Anyway, looking good so far. I look forward to the next update! :)

Typo by me, should have changed back to Demi-Century.

Your comments on naming conventions are great ; The 'tech lord' is meant to represent one of the few Lords of any particular Forgeworld (Literally one of the ~10 people who run the whole planet).

I just went with Tech-Lord because it was evocative of 'high lord of terra', and is quite approachable.

Actually, the Tech-Lord should probably lose Inspiring, it's been pointed out to me that whilst the Tech-Lords might indeed be wise beyond measure, they're not particularly sane, and it's unlikely that they'd be able to galvanise resistance in the same efficient fashion as a Commissar or a Space Marine Chaplain.
