Well titanicus is coming out soon and the good people at black library have an extract for those of us who want to read about titan goodness.

Got a new name for one of the moderatti and some interesting bits on the machine spirit of a warhound.  I’m not so sure about the firepower of the warhound, but it is abnett and I can kind of see what he is aiming at.

Like I have already said, I am not that happy with the result of a plasma blast gun meeting a Reaver (maybe we should upgun them in epic   ).  Though hopefully Abnett will go the way of "dark wing" in which the shields were so powerful that when they go down the ship goes down.

Though I might be bias because I am so close to getting a 40K Reaver and chaosifying it.

It's simple.

The Warhound shot at the Reaver, managed a critical hit on the Void Shield Generators, which caused a capacitor flowback to the reactor and detonated the Reaver...

...He's playing Adeptus Titanicus rather than Epic Armageddon!  :))

That was an assumption of mine.

Just like storm of iron.  Either the shots did nothing or they ripped apart a titan.

My take was that the Reaver was already damaged. All the description talking about how it looked and acted could be taken as either as a sign of its traitorous corruption or of it being previously damaged. I had just destroyed a bunch of Imperial tanks, surely those tanks could have inflicted some damage on the Reaver.

The Reaver didn't see to be much of a marksman, either. The Warhound hit with the first shot while the Reaver's shots were wide to the left.
