Hey gang

Can we get an update on where AMTL is at? Who is running with this ball right now? And can someone point me in the right direction of a working list at this point in time.

Well, the votes showed broad support for Chroma's and TRC's proposals... I think it's about time that we see new versions of both of their lists!

As for the others who recieved less 'yes' votes, if they want to continue, I suggest they have a re-think as to the format of their proposed army lists.

TRC's proposal is basically a modified version of AMTL v2.

And as we all know, the original AMTL 2.0 list failed terribly, and has no existant army champion; There's no reason to propose that a dead list which notoriously failed should be the version we use.

I am with Hena on this one. Few minor tweaks to that and we have working list. (Melta cannon, Quake Reaver and throw ordinatus to support).

EDIT: TRC:s list is modified v2, but it is quite modified, actually so much that it is own list.

EDIT2: I did not know it "failed". It just was without driver.

Well from my point of view, I've been playing against Emperor's Shadow and he's been using Chris' list. This is also the list that I have been using to build my potential army from. Chris has also made a small update to the army list

Well I voted yes for this, because I also think it has many good points. But who would drive it?

That doesn't mean I am against some of the other proposals I also voted yes for though... (and I do probably favour the direction some of those have taken...)

Am I voting properly here or just causing confusion... I sense maybe the latter...  ???

I was wondering should people start saying in each of the voting threads, what they think needs improving and what they thing works.

It could be possible that between all the lists there is a very good idea and we jus t have to find all the parts.

Let AMTL 2.0 die I say.  Theres no active army champ for the list and it would need changes to make it viable (as I understand it).  Lets stick with options that are being actively supported- IMHO Chris's list is the best compromise between old and new, although chromas is very elegant..
