Has any thought ben given to giving the Imperator Titans more than 1 activation each.


Lots of thought... and it all started from the assumption that the Emperor class titan would start off with 18DC.

I dissagree. Activations can break Epic. The game assumes roughly similar activations. You need I think a minimum of 7 on the ground and with ever more tweaked lists 8+ is what I would need with any army to feel I had a hope.

(As an aside my longest strong of draws was with a pre version 1 AMTL army of just Battle Titans and a some thunderbolts!)

Yes you can create super titans but unless they are indirect (assuming you have the proper amount of terrain 12 pieces of up to 30cm to a side for a 6x4 table) the enemy can just avoid you and concentrate their fire on certain types of target.

People like Tim and me will always just go for as many hulls as possible as titan hulls are excellent in their own right. Stuff like TLD's can be carried by Warhounds which are cheaper in points per gun.

Try playing a game with less activations than that and a canning objective set up.

The Epic development process said first playtest the rules, then play the game :)
