Yes the Big Death posse looks like fun, don't understand the CC & FF heads as these seem to be free upgrades.

You still have to fulfil the tactical weapon choices before taking them (IE, must have at least one other tactical weapon and atleast half the weapons in the army must be tactical weapons), but they're 'free' in that they give you a tactical weapon as well as the head (In essence they allow some of the titans to get an extra benefit in firefight/assault at the price of not being able to field the big, nasty support weapons).

I'm assuming the 'bonus' tactical weapon from them does not count as a tactical weapon for purposes of force armaments, so you'd still need to pick at least half tactical weapons not counting those. Not positive though.

On the pre-made titan designs: I think it'd be easy to do. But I don't really see a need for it as things stand. Right now I haven't had any problems or significant complaints about the current arming solutions to be honest.

Ok, I'm being dense here,

I'm supposed to apply the restrictions from Legio Victorum (Chris' other list) to my choices for Legio Destructor. Yes?

I makes the list a lot more boring then...

No, no. The restrictions are 50% of the weapons must be Tactical and each model must have at least 1 tactical weapon. What changed was which weapons qualify as what. So the various melee/firefight weapons are 'tactical' weapons in that list, while the heads and heavy support weapons are 'support' weapons. So you could have, say, a Titan with 2 Chainfists and a Combat Head, for instance, but not one with a Quake Cannon, a Combat Head and a Chainfist (Well, for the beetle battle titans anyway. But I think you get the general idea). Essentially you have to have at least one weapon from the tactical list BEFORE you can choose any of the heads. And the tactical weapon gained from having the head doesn't count towards the 50% limit or the minimum 1 weapon.

So can I play with three Reavers armed as follows 2x Plasma Destructors & 1x Chain Fist, 2x  Las Burner & 1x Plasma Destructor and 2x  Las Burner & 1x Plasma Destructor.

So that I have a total of 4 Las Burners, 1 Chainfist & 4 Plasma Destructors over the three titans.

Yep! That, I do believe, is correct. Or any other combination which adds up to 5+ tactical, 4- Support and at least 1 tactical each!

Edit: Actually, looking at the list again, I seem to have gotten it wrong. Under that list it looks like only Warlords can mount Support weapons. One each. Not sure though... Might have to wait for Chris to answer this one! But... Uh.. Anyway the rules as written looks like you have to take all tactical weapons (Except the warlord may have one support weapon). I think the point with the heads is they're not as good as a support weapon on their own, but are good enough to qualify combined with a tactical weapon or something like that...

I see what you mean, so change the Plasmas to Cannons and away we go.

Okay, looking at it more carefully (Apparently I'm blind!) what Chris did was make the various titans 50 points cheaper and include the ability for the Warlords to carry 1 support weapon each automatically. Any titan can be given a Vet Princepts for 50 pionts which lets them exchange one weapon for a support weapon. So you could go something like 1 reaver with Chain Fist, 2x Plasma Cannons and 2 Reavers with 2x Laser Burners, Vet Princepts and 1x Plasma destructor each. Or field 3 with 2x Laser Burners and 1x Plasma Destructor each. No more then 1 support weapon on Reavers, though, it looks like. But a basic Reaver is slightly cheaper as well.

But yes, changing all the Destructors to Cannons will make the army legal (And slightly cheaper at only 1800 points for the 3!) I think.

I think that I would rather take the saving of points and not choose a Vet Princepts and I was Blind as well so don't worry. Now all I need is some more Reavers or else I will be testing with some strange looking proxies.

Yes it was just how to implement what NH suggested. It was to point out the 'upgrade' system is essential the current system but with a different support set up.

That's why I haven't glued any weapons to any of my Titans. I've always wanted the flexibility of swapping weapons. In the near future I'm going to use magnets for them.

Kinda my piont Hena - however the variant is supposed to show how it works by making it an assault titan list :)

As a system for the current legion it sucks as that a more firepower based list.
