AMTL 3.08

I think that titans should have available to them some form of dedicated AAA weapon...if for no other reason than I can't see the AdMech deploying such a vital asset without giving it the ability to defend itself from air attacks if it should be deployed outside the envelope of its supporting AA assets.


I'm still very much thinking about this.

Carapace Multilasers end up hitting on 6's after the Titan has moved under the experimental rules, after all...

Evil and Chaos and his Warseer alter ego Chaos and Evil would seem to fit the description for Alpharius/Omegon...one soul sharing two bodies.

It's a mystery.

I have just noticed that the AdMech battleship doesn't have slow and steady.

Very minor update with no rules changes:

3.05
Added arcs to titan weapon mounts.
Renamed carapace landing pad to fire control centre.
Added ?slow and steady? to the Battleship.




I would like to hear suggestions for the spaceship weapons.

I admire your enthusiasm E&C but can we come to a point soon when we can test? I played a game last night with a list that is now 2 editions out of date  :D

How did the game go?

Changes since 3.03 have been very minor... I've mostly just been chasing down text errors.

Pushed an update:

3.06
Changed demi-century to 9 units + 1 commander instead of 10+1 (Demi-century means 50, not 55, heh)
Set new stats for the Ad-Mech ships (Simply based on the weapons fit of the example ships on the online store)


More importantly, the Skitarii army list is now also included.

Greetings Evil and Chaos,

Nice reformating on v 3.06..makes it much easier to read!

Good to see the Gorgon making an appearance too!

One quick question and a comment:

The vortex missile is a BP 3 weapon and a macro effect...do you see it as using the AP to hit on all attacks like is proposed for the quake cannon?

On the inclusion of sentinels in the list:

I understand the fluff reasons for including the sentinels...they fill a much needed recon niche for the titans..but are they too weak to fill this nich gamewise?

This spot in the list is the one place that I could see deploying some form of knight unit...or something knight like....i.e. a relative fast and well armored unit...which might be biased towards cc as its function would be to scout and contest objectives. ?

Just a thought!

All and all..this list has come very far very fast and it is a vast improvement IMHO over the 2.0 list!

I'll wait for Jervis' decision on this one before I say. :D

I have turned my attention to the Knights now... once we find their most appropriate 'theme', we can begin looking at how to incorporate them into Epic.

My personal preference is for a stand-alone army list, but I'm not wedded to that idea.

All and all..this list has come very far very fast and it is a vast improvement IMHO over the 2.0 list!

I hope it will be so.

I've played two games so far, and had a lot of fun with one win and one loss...

You might want to change the Chimera transport option for that then to 5 Chimera, instead of 6.


Patched. Didn't update the version number as it should have been five in the first place.
