Well, I was thinking it could be something I could do while some spray paint dries this weekend, just to see if it would be anything like balanced.

I was thinking of taking the standard rulebook configuration Warlord as the 'basic' Warlord and run the points costings off of that.

But like I said, I need a list of points costs from somewhere. ???

You could start by taking a look at the Titan point costs in the NetEpic rules. The points will be different E:A, but at least it could give you a feel for the relative cost of individual weapons.

Which system runs closest to how the titan weapons operate in Epic:Armageddon?

In one sense, in none of the previous editions do the weapons operate just like they are in E:A, but E:A has pretty much replicated the "feel" of each weapon and their realtive worth should be similar to NetEpic. The points won't be the same, but you might be able to gauge their relative strengths and point costs vis-a-vis other weapons.

Well, the points costs of the NetEpic Warhound Weapons transferred to Epic Armageddon work out at:

Vulcan Mega Bolter - 52.08
Plasma Blast Gun - 67.7
Inferno Gun - 52.08
Turbo Laser - 78.125

Warhound Hull - 130.2

Ajusted to make them sensible integers, that'd give:

Vulcan Mega Bolter - 50
Plasma Blast Gun - 70
Inferno Gun - 50
Turbo Laser - 80

Warhound Hull - 130

Note that the conversion was accurate enough to give 250 points when you build a 'standard' configuration Warhound.

Hopefully I'll be able to get ahold of some TL-II rules soon and do a second round of comparisons.

EDIT: NetEpic does not have a Warhound-mountable Multiple Rocket Launcher so I couldn't transfer any points costs for it.

Yes, it was a Horro at times, but it was good too. I felt we did  a lot and if nothing else inspired soem great ideas.

I remember one you offered, something like Imperial have limited weapon veriations (Order) and Chaos have total weapon selection (Chaos). Or something like that.

Didn't take off, but it was always one I thought was interesting.
