Since you are just play testing the list, I wouldn't worry too much about creating the "ideal" combination for 1000 points.

Umm... That is a very good point.
I'm not quite sure what I was doing... Never occurred to me that I was play testing and so I didn't have to worry about it being perfect *headdesk*
I clearly still haven't gotten my mind out of the Flames of War tourney scene when it comes to list making.
