If you wish to keep the forced Legate on an Emperor titan I would just raise the basic price by 50pts.

The restriction on the number of Warhounds is going to be a pain for people wanting to play all war engine armies and still have a decent number of activations.

With Warhounds already being support choices I don't see the need for this.

I agree with Tiny-Tim.
I don't really see a need for further restrictions on support formations. They are already limited in number by Battle Titans. Anything more seems overly complicated and unnecsssary.

Is it possible to get a clarification on the Minoris weapon restrictions? It says Battle Titan weapons only. The Scout weapons are still classed as Battle Titan weapons aswell. Are they elagible? Surely the Turbolaser Destructor is allowable?

Low numbers of activations is one of the hallmarks of this list, along with extreme ranged firepower, void shielded War Engines and rock solid armour.

600 Reaver
275 Warhound
500 2 Warhounds

600 Reaver
275 Warhound
500 2 Warhounds
100 4 Sentinels

150 2 Thunderbolts

That's the most Warhound Titans I can cram into a 3k list at the moment (6), in a list with 8 activations, four of which are 6DC of War Engines with 4 Void Shields, all with 20-30cm speed.

Do we really want to allow more Warhounds than that?

Because we know what happens when you reach the Warhound event-horizon...

Which would you prefer?

I was thinking that the scout Titan weapons simply wouldn't be gnarly enough for a tech-magos building his tribute to Omnissiah (An Ordinatus)...

Sneeky, you've increased the number of support choices.

I would be happy to lose the restriction and stay at 2 support for every Battle / Emperor titan

Dammit, I've been terrible at noting down the changes for 3.10!

Thoughts gents?

We did discuss this earlier on and I was for it at the time, but with more experience of the list and advice from others I now think that a workable army can be created using just two support choices. This will also force players to choose the style of their force, all War Engine or Titans with infantry.

Also I've started to win again.

However, Aircraft would have to be split off again.

The point of three different support formations per titan was to give people additional choice, while limiting the WH Horde. If Tim wants to play two per titan he can. Personally, I think this works.

As for the aircraft in the supports, on first reading it feels desperately broken - until you realise that they are restricted by the "one per titan" rule. So, the maximum you can get is
3x Reaver,
3x Marauder,
3x TBolt
3000 points (9 activations). Possibly not game breaking, but deadly boring to play against.

However, retaining the "air section" does not actually help that much either as it allows 6x Tbolts and 300 points over to be spent elsewhere! Perhaps it is best solved by either
  • restricting each titan to a single air support?
  • restricting the AMTL aircraft to 1/3 of the activations.

Rug, you can still get 2x Reavers and 6x Warhounds can't you (they will be two packs and two singletons).

Also, you get a further 2x activations this way so perhaps a Tbolt and a sentinal - 8 activations for 3000 points. What is the problem??

I get the feeling that AMTL armies are going to become very similar as players fight for activations and the ability to take an opponent on.

I think the main source of "variety" in an AMTL army will be the weapon loadouts on the Titans...
