1250 seems alot

Could have 2 Reavers for that.

I know it has been said before, but maybe give the Emporer Titans 2 Activations. (Primary Weapons, Move & Secondary Weapons)

I'd leave the missiles as one type and may only fire 1 per turn, in the odd GT game it will get to fire 5 or 6 times and there are always scenarios for those that want to get all 8 missiles off.

However, I am concerned that this is becoming the Emperor class list rather than a Battle titan list.

Incidentally las burner wise what was wrong with the +3EA MW?

It was too powerful to be a free weapon system.

And your stats wise is the CC or FF needed considering WE can always choose to use FF values?

Yes, because CC attacks cannot spread beyond CC, and vice-versa.

4+ chance of the thunderhawk dieing? Too unfair.

Try playing against Necrons... they have many of these weapons (IIRC 75cm, AA 4+, TKD3)

Oh and transport wise why not ten?

IIRC it was originally eight.

It could be ten though.

120cm...

But they pay 200 points for an immobile 2DC war engine.

It only takes 2 BMs to break it, rather than the 12 needed to stop the emperor.

So for the price of one Emperor, they can have 6x AA4+ TKD3 120cm shots... with a total DC of... 12. :)

Still its a fun killer for those types of armies. And often its their only way of getting titans.

TBH Im not worried as the "ooh a new toy" phase will pass and they'll just be considered another titan.

This is what would ideally happen.

We'll never find out if Emperor titans can be balanced unless we test them, and one of the most common questions asked by newbies is 'where are the rules for the Imperator?'.

Let's kill two birds with one rule.

My biggest complaint is still the same - the lack of an effective anti-infantry CC weapon, and now the Lasburner is even less useful than before.

the lack of an effective anti-infantry CC weapon,

A titan-class chainblade giving +6 attacks against infantry units crawling around its feet is frankly dumb.

the Lasburner is even less useful than before.

How about we give the lasburner +4 attacks in CC, or +2 in a firefight?

I didn't say it had to be the Chainfist, which is clearly meant to be an anti-vehicle/WE weapon.

I'd prefer to see +4 EA for both CC and FF, but +4/+2 would be more helpful. My general feeling is that if I'm going to give up a ranged weapon for a CC weapon, than that CC weapon had better well be worth it and none of the CC weapons right now are worth taking for fighting infantry.

I don't think there'd be a problem with that ; I nerfed it too much in the latest version I think.

I'd rather not see the Emperor Titans in a GT-style army list.  Even with the seriously scaled down DC and points it's going to be too big of a chunk at anything under 4000 and would probably need more like 5000 to really be workable.

I agree they won't be all that useful in most (~3k) games, but the army lists are supposed to take into account armies from 2000 to 5000pts... in a 5k game, taking an Emperor Titan wouldn't be so absurd.

People didn't take Emperor titans in most of their games in 2nd edition either, though the Titan was definitely present in the army list...

CC wise, just imagine a powerfist opened, fingers sprayed wide and a titan dropping to one knee, slapping the palm to the ground :) (Who saw the transformers comic with metroplex waking up? :) ).
