Hello - sorry if this isnt done very wel but its my first Bat Rep so bear with me and excuse my bad photo taking skills.

NID FORMATION

1 Dominatrix
3 Dactylis
3 Exocrinse
2 Lobsters
2 Trygorns
4 Biovores
1 Zoanthrope
10 Rippers (Proxies)
20 Stands of Gargoyles
2 Stands of Termagaunts
2 Stand of Hormagaunts

IG Formation

1 Imperator Titan
1 Commander Sentinel (Dont know the real name)
2 Leman Russ Demolishers
3 Chimeras
2 Bombards
4 Basilisks
10 Stands of Troopers
2 Sentinels
1 Pillbox (Objective)

SM Dark Angel Formation

3 Deathwing Land Raiders
6 Stands of Deathwing Terminators

[SCENARIO]

The old city of Artek is the new IG outpost. In the librarium lies a warp portal into the heart of Cadia. The usefulness of the portal is worthless - it cannot be lost. An Imperator Titan has been deployed to defend it - and nearby colonies know it cannot fall into enemy hands.

Therefore when a Tyranid Hive Fleet ammassed near the outside of the ruined city - a small formation of Terminators, lead by grand master Octavian -  teleported between the Tyranids and the Cuty - in an effort to slow their advance and gain time for reinforcemnts to arrive.

In the city - the librarium garrison (Pillbox) is ready. And tanks have been deployed to take out as much as possible and avoid close combat fighting due to lacvk of foot troops.

It has just begun....

[OBJECTIVES]

Dark Angles: Survive through to the end of turn 5 when reinforcements arrive.

IG: Mantain point superiority within the city at all times and keep the pillbox alive.

Tyranids: Enter the city and destroy the pillbox and take control of Artex.

[BATTLE REPORT]

TURN 1:

Move Phase - Tyranids advance to engage the Deathwing deployment. The Terminators brace for impact and the IG move to a better garrison position.

Shooting Phase - Gargoyle fire takes out a stand of Terminators. Although many misses the Rippers take out a Land Raider. Return Fire from the terminator ranks cleans 1 stand of gargoyles off the board. IG Bombard and Basilisks deliver first battery clearing a stand of Hormagaunts.

(lots of 1's rolled this turn!!! )

TURN 2:

Moving Phase - Nids Deploy to prepare for assault phases.  SMT LR move to counter gargoyles that are flanking. Demolishers move to help the SMT. Chimeras deploy to the centre of the city.

Hi hotwire!

I'm a little confused as to your force organization for the Tyranids (and the Imperials at little too!).  Which ruleset are you using to play?

With "Move Phase" and "Shooting Phase", I'm not sure if you're playing Epic:Armageddon or NetEPIC or what.  Can you clarify?  Thanks!

Playing Epic with many lists for our non official models - but im just summarising what the two teams did when they shot and when they moved and soon you'll see the assault phase.

Also this match had a "use whatever in your army" rule to it because we both had things we wanted to experiment....

Yeah, that's what I mean, are you playing an older version of EPIC, because EPIC: Armageddon doesn't have "phases" like that during at turn.

Just curious which rules you're using is all.
