But just kidding. Keep up writing. I'm waiting forward to this one as well(next one is another humiliating defeat for me and then there's that psycho scenario so for me atleast this one is probably best of the remaining reports).

Because we are not talking about mere infantry but towering warp-powered monstorities from hell :D Daemon prince in epic makes 40k daemon prince go pale, being more truthfull to fluff. For better comparison check 2nd edition daemon princes   :laugh:

It's here and there should daemon prince rather be invidual warengine model rather than upgrade to chaos marine. More akin to avatar.

In 4th ed. 40k , a Daemon Prince (with Daemonic Stature, because it's possible to be a 'prince' without D. Stature) is the most terrifying vehicular can-opener in the game.  Lots attacks (6-7 is normal), with good strength (S7 on the charge) and 2d6 Armor Penetration.  (Land Raider?  That sardine can was a Land Raider?)  A statured prince (in 40k) could legitimately kill a shieldless Warhound in one CC phase with a little luck (he'd need 3 good penetrating hits).  Now, Epic says a Daemon Prince is even more powerful than that.  Monstrous Creature vs Vehicle is not even funny.

Carnifexs are just as feared by tank crews as daemon princes.  Okay a daemon prince can fly, but a fex can rip apart a tank for only 114pts.  Go all the way and splash out 260pts+ on a fex and it can take out warhounds with easy (upto 10 attacks with 10+2D6 armour pen).

Also fex can have bio plasma.  A CC attack that always hits on 4+, even against skimmers and the such like which the DP would need a 6 to hit.

Maybe it is time to start asking for fex to have TK(1) attacks, now where is Jaldon for me to nag  :p
