Hiya Hive Mind

I've been a bit quiet lately (work does have this habit of getting in the way of galactic domination!) and am catching up with all the suggested unit changes.

Has anyone got a version of 7.1 with all the latest suggested changes in it that I can print off? I am fighting again next weekend and will report back my thoughts.

Here are the latest WIP stat / weapons modifications for the 7.1 list as of 17th Aug.

These stats can be used as a 'patch' for those in the 7.1 list. If something not mentioned here hasn't been changed, assume it's still operating the same.



- Scythed Hierodule (125pts):
- Speed20cm / Armour 4+ RA / DC 3 / CC3+ / FF5+
- Acid Spray /15cm / AP2+/AT6+ / Ignore Cover
- Huge Scything Talons: +2 MW TK(1) CC attacks.


- Barbed Hierodule (125pts):
- Speed 20cm / Armour 4+ RA/ DC 3 / CC4+ / FF4+
- Twin-Linked Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP2+/AT3+ / Ignore Cover
- Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP3+/AT4+ / Ignore Cover


- Trygon (125pts):
- Speed 15cm / DC 3 / Armour 3+  / CC 3+ / FF 5+
- Large Scything Talons: +2 MW CC attacks.
- Bio-Electric field / D3 shots /20cm / AP3+/AT6+ / Ignore Cover
- Invulnerable Save, Infiltrate.


- Harridan (225pts):
- Speed 35cm / DC 3 / Armour 5+ RA / CC4+ / FF5+
- Twin-Linked Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP2+/AT3+ / Ignore Cover
- Large Scything Talons: +2 MW CC attacks.


- Vituraptor (325pts):
- Speed 30cm / DC 4 / Armour 4+ RA / CC 4+ / FF 4+
- 2x Bio Cannons 2x / 45cm / AP3+/AT4+ / Ignore Cover
- Spore Cannon /Template / AP5+/AA5+ /Ignore Cover
- 2x Monstrous Claws - +1EA TK (d3)


- Hierophant (250pts):
- Speed 25cm / DC 6 / Armour 4+ RA / CC 3+ / FF 5+
- Huge Scything Talons: +2 MW TK(1) CC attacks.
Additionally, the Hierophant must select two weapons biomorphs from the Bio-Titans biomorphs list.


- Hydraphant (350pts):
- Speed 25cm / DC 8 / Armour 4+ RA / CC 3+ / FF 5+
- Huge Scything Talons: +2 MW TK(1) CC attacks.
- Warp Blast /30cm /AP4+ AT4+ AA5+
- Bio-Plasmic Breath /Template /MW 5+ /Ignore Cover
Additionally, the Hierophant must select two weapons biomorphs from the Bio-Titans biomorphs list.


Dominatrix (400 pts)
- Speed 25cm / DC 8 / 4+ RA  / CC 3+ / FF 5+
- Large Warp Blast / 30cm / MW 4+ / MWAA 4+
- Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP3+/AT4+ / Ignore Cover
- 2x Monstrous Claws - +1EA TK (d3)
- Smite



Bio-Titan weapons biomorphs:

- Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP3+/AT4+ / Ignore Cover
- Ripper Tentacles - Extra Attacks (d3+2)
- Monstrous Claws - +1EA TK (d3)
- Pyro-Acidic Spray - Template, AP4+/AT5+ Ignores Cover




Haruspex (50 pts)
- Speed 20cm / 4+ RA / CC 3+ / FF 5+
- Large Claws /Base Contact /CC weapon /+2 EA, MW

Malefactor (50 pts)
- Speed 20cm / 5+ RA / CC 4+ / FF 4+
- Spine banks / 20cm / 2x AP3+/AT6+ / -

Dactylis (75 pts)
- Speed 15cm / 5+ / CC 6+ / FF 5+
- Super Spore Mines /45cm /1BP /Disrupt, Indirect Fire



Exocrine (75 pts)

- Bio Cannon 2x / 45cm / AP3+/AT4+ / Ignore Cover
- Big Claws /Base Contact /MW /CC weapon +1 attacks



Carnifex: Screamer-Killer (35 pts)
- Speed 15cm / Armour 3+ / CC 4+ / FF 6+
- Big Claws /Base Contact /MW /CC weapon +1 attacks
- Notes: Fearless


Carnifex: Venomspitter (35 pts)
- Speed 15cm / Armour 3+ / CC 4+ / FF 5+
- Twin-Linked Venom Cannon /30cm /AP4+ AT6+
- Notes: Fearless


E&C - would it be too much trouble to put both versions in the list so that if I get a second game in I'll try em both.


If you want the flame template on the Harridan, use the pryo-acid spray stats instead of the bio-cannons. Be advised however it looks 95% likely that it'll be removed from the Harridan in the next list, in favour of Bio-Cannons as are present in this list... basically because that's what the cannon Harridan has.

As ever, the Vituraptor might keep its flame template weapon... if the pro-template camp can justify its continued existance to Jaldon. :)

I'm going to start moaning again.  :D

I can't remember why (nor can I find a post about it) are the Hierodrules fatser than the trygon?

Sure it is 10cm faster on the charge, and can ignore ZoC, though as a WE it can barge anyway.

But it looks so slow.

This think moves 6+D6" a turn in 40K (and 18+D6" when chargeing  :;): ) compared to the heirodules 6" (12" chrage).

Could we drop infiltrate and up its speed to something funky and giant ravener like?

questions for the list.

Are Myecetic Spores single use (disposable) or are they reusable every turn?

Is the Hierophant fearless?

Does the Trygon have reinforced armour and Invulnerable save?

Does the Trygon have Infiltrate?

I'll give my opponent the choice, but I think he'll choose the 7.1 WIP list over the 7.1. I just want to get the list right so I can remember everything!
