I think that should work ok... I take it you are using the reduced firepower stats for the tyranid arty? eg: -1BP for the dactocrine, probably range reduction from 60cm to 45cm. 4-5 AP/5-6 AT for the Biovore, no Barrage or BP, maybe range reduction to 30cm. Even with these stats I have found the tyranid arty to be very deadly - it is hard to kill or suppress, can spawn back and sustains fire on a 2+. Hence I am more and more inclined to go with the range reduction. With its current range, it still seems able to win shooting fights with Guard, which doesn't seem right. |
