Greetings from a tiny Hive!

I've been doing a lot of Ulthwe and LatD playtesting lately and I thought I'd finally turn my sights on Tyranids.  I've got lots of models and I want to shock-and-awe my gaming buddies with a surprise invasion.

As I was putting together a list, I noticed that the Mycetic Spore Clouds are an uncommon brood creature!  Does this really mean I can just keep spawning more every turn I've used them, using any extra "pips" generated by a big spawn via MSC to replace the MSCs I just used?  Somehow, that just doesn't seem right.  Am I missing an obvious limitation or is this the actual intent?

Der... I dont' think that's ever been brought up before.

It's screwy as it is written, but I'm quite sure you can't spawn mycetic spores.

I'm *pretty* sure the intent is that you're not supposed to be able to spawn more mycetic spores as there'd then be no point in ever buying more than 3 (the max you can use per spawn), because you could just respawn them again and use them for another respawn.

Looking at the list catagories, I'm not sure where they should be put to avoid the infinite spawn.  If a "space assets" section is added for hiveships, perhaps there?

Spores are not a true 'on table' unit and cannot be respawned, they are treated as a one use addition to spawning.

The rule itself has never been clearly written to state that, as throughout playtesting it has been understood that they were single use and gone forever.

It is good that you have pointed this out as this could have led to a BIG loop-hole that an ocean of bugs could have poured through. A big Thank You :)
