Nope, I only took one photo, for one thing. :)

I can say I thought the weapon arms weren't immediately wildly unbalanced. And the list felt interesting to play with, as it isn't entirely biased toward "march turn one, engage turn two".

Might want to drop the number of extra FF attacks the acid spray arm gives from 3 to 2.

Have you tried out garrisoned Hierodules with Hive Nests yet? Seems like they could be good, though it depends on the opponent and objective placement.

Not yet, it'll be on my list of things to try; a bio cannon set up on overwatch could be interesting.

I've only played one game so far, and wanted to concentrate on checking out a variety of basic weapons first.

Fair enough, makes sense to test core units first.

I was thinking more of the CC one (or possibly upgrade with one extra; 1 CC, 1 shooty) and starting the Nest as close to the mid-line as possible to take the hits. They can each be 15cm apart as 3DC WE which helps. They could launch an early game assault (perhaps with FF support from other units) depending how the enemy deploy and move.

Played another test game with the Nid Titans. Totally forgot how the game went.

I think maybe I won, largely due to getting a very lucky 2nd turn win on the strategy roll?

We played it with the pyro-acid arm reducing the FF from +3 attacks to +2, and that seemed fine, so I'll update the army list with that change at some point.

It was a very close game with the Nids suffering from more than their fair share of criticals. Space Marines losing turn two strategy meant that they lost their Land Raiders before they could do any real damage.

Half a dozen games under my belt. Made some points changes:

Hierophant reduced from 300 to 250 points
Hierophant Upgrade reduced from 250 to 200 points
Hierodule Upgrade reduced from 125 to 100 points
Harridan Upgrade increased from 175 to 200 points
Trygon Brood reduced from 300 to 250 points

A list with 9 activations looks more practical now.

I hope to get a load of biotitans painted up during the lockdown and will try and badger some of the local players afterwards to play against it to test it. It would be great to get it allowable to use at Epic-UK tournaments one day.

To add a bit of feedback should Harridans cost 250 as in the normal list when they don’t have 2 x free Gargoyles with them adding numbers and AA? Given they cost 40 odd as upgrades might 225 not be a fairer cost for the Harridan on it’s own?
