Not a 3K battle, so probably doesn't count. But the list worked just fine in 2K as well, we got a close and exciting battle against vanilla Astartes. viewtopic.php?f=84&t=26218 I think his Biovores would have performed better on overwatch instead of advancing, but otherwise everything performed admirably in character. The Dom was big and dangerous, the bugs never won strategy but still got some good engages in, and they were all really nasty in CC (except the Biovores, of course). Swarming was simple and easy, and all gaunts returned each turn. In turn 4 there'd have been some that couldn't be brought back, though. The effect of Synapse (and loss of same) was keenly felt. |
