Here is Version 5.0 of Hive Fleet Leviathan, the list for Tyranid players who want to closely match the current style of Tyranids in 40k. This is a significant change from earlier versions, as I am no longer working under the netEA umbrella; I am developing this list for my Epic: Hive supplement.

I've tried something new with the army construction; an attempt to get the benefits of both the 'Clusters' and 'Ork Style' construction systems. Any comments? |

I like it. My only worry is that it is too flexible, leaving the list with no real focus and nowhere for variants to go (except the biotitan list of course) and potentially allowing some nasty unforseen combos. |

It's the nasty combos I'm most worried about. I'd like people to stress test it and see what nastiness can be made. |

I the structure much more than the other Core list. It gives that flexibility like the Orks but it keeps the Clusters build (which I like) of that Nid feel. The only thing that makes me sad, which doesn't need to be in there and could a variant thingy down the way, is that you cannot take an all worm/snake list ie All Trygons and Raveners. If you let the Synapse Upgrade be a choice in the Syspanse Cluster then it could be placed on a "Rare" Unit making an all Try/Rav list possible. But then again that might not be good for the list or what not, just throwing 2 cents out there. |

Would it be possible to get a printerfriendly version? Or is there an easy way to create one? Grey background seems like such a waste when printing... edit: managed to print a couple of (barely readable) pages by editing the pages in paint. Should be good enough for now. |

Wording of the points costs for the Support Swarms is abit unclear. For example: In the Trygon Prime Swarm (whynit Tunneler Swarm?) you can ourchase a Trygion for 75pts. So can i only purchase one additional Trygon or can i purchase multiple Trygons für 75pts each? Same for the Raveners in this Swarm. Is the maximum size 1 Trygon Prime, 1 Trygon and 4 Raveners? Or can i purchase a second (third, etc)Trygon and/or 8 (12, 16, etc) Raveners? |

Each upgrade may be taken only once per swarm (last paragraph of 'how to use the army list'). |

Ah i see. Should e clarified in the army list itself. The Space Marine and Imperial Guard lists in the rulebook say how many upgrades a formation can take but it is mentioned in the armylist itself too for clarity. |
