Quote: Unless you've looked at the forum in the last few days or check all the sub-forums (including those that do not appear to be for EA news) your not going to know about the EUK Nid release I always click on "View New Posts", rather than browsing every one of the ~50 sub forums on TC looking for new posts. |

Rug, start using the View New Posts option. Amongst other things, you're wanted in the Champion's discussion forum. For utility's sake, here's the thread that was moved: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=21463 |

I visit once a year in the hope of new posts. And I just assumed the Epic UK Tyranids had been expunged for some reason, having all the Epic Tyranid stuff in one Epic Tyranid forum is an absurd idea... |

Ok I'll admit that the two thread's were partially my fault! I'd put the docs onto the Epic-UK lists page (http://www.epic-uk.co.uk/armylists.shtml) before Tiny-Tim had published the release post here....and it was discovered and announced. I also said that most of the time Epic-UK announcements go in the tournament thread, as that seemed the most logical. So Mea Culpae. Now go do some play-testing or something productive! |

And now we have a third thread about the EpicUK Tyranids.... My apologies that these threads were moved to the new location. I should have left a redirect in both original locations. However, as I stated, this is not a tournament announcement per se, and I dont want to confuse some people with a seperate list being discussion in the NetEA Tyranid board, so - as a release on a respected web site - I felt that web news was a logical place for it. Part of the confusion regarding proper location of threads has been because I have not moved threads to appropriate boards in the past to reinforce the 'logic' (at least to me!) of the 'organisation'. |

New Posts is a good feature, but members shouldnt have to rely on it. Please calm down. There is no reason to get quite so pointed about this. Moving one thread to a different board does not constitute EpicUK threads 'not being welcome' at all. If that were the case, I would have locked or deleted it. Cross fertilisation is a good thing, and encouraged, hence the Tau AC and Mephiston on the NetERC. Now, I have not moved the thread again as it has shifted around a lot. Would you like me to move it here? |
