I see the Dominatrix at the same size as a Hierophant but much more bulky where the Hierophant looks very spindly.

Well hey, by that logic, you could make the even bigger bug/hydraphant (or whatever you call it) a "fire support" creature. I mean, the list does lack something that can shoot bio plasma out of its butt.

This assumes that fire support != shock

I would have liked more abstraction.

Alas, I foresee we'll end up with All bio tanks variant that ever existed, and current 40K models with all their variant weapon load out detailed and spread among 10 unfinished semi official lists, because having dactylis models count as exocrines or Mawloc count as trygons will still be considered "lack of respect" to one part of the player base or the other when the next tyranid codex or imperial armour come out and shuffle it all again.
