How many guant stands do people find themselves accompanying warriors with? I don't bother with raveners at the moment and I've not found this to be problem.
I usually end up running two big broods with about 16 stands of small critters in each (a couple of those would be gargoyles.  They take a hell of a lot of pummeling but can be a massive points sink.

What are people's experience with smaller broods?

I like to take eight or so per Assault Group, gives "bulk", absorbs AP fire, and lets one use more Uncommon options as well.

Hey MoK, if you're not using Raveners much, what do you use to "protect" your LV Tyranid Warriors?  

What's a "typical" swarm/army look like for you?
