No more Special Rules until we get rid of some more of what's currently there please.

And we shouldn't have any more... a unit note is a Special Rule by another name as far as I'm concerned.

The main use of notes is to apply universal special rules... using them to apply unique special rules should be kept to the absolute minimum, IMHO.

It gives a nice compromise as to their general abilities in 40k perhaps... the normally either have the 'Synapse' ability, or some abilities that affect the enemy's leadership, or some abilities that affect your own creatures' ability to attack.

Basically, in a more generalistic way, they are Leaders.

Well at least we're arguing over unit abilities now rather than special rules.

Sorry Hena, I don't see the need. I think this is what Marshall is for.

Is the intent then that the Nexus Group would remove 2 additional Blast markers in the End Phase?

I don't have a problem with that, I think Tyranids should clear BMs pretty quickly, but I'm not sure it's necessary.

Eldar play with a lot fewer leaders and then don't have expendable to cushion the number they receive, but they're still effective.

I don't think this is vital enough to give a unit note. I was under the impression that the 3 warriors was already a popular synapse choice anyway, is improving it neccesary?

Attack groups are remarkably resilient when surrounded by 10+ common broods and when they keep to cover. ESPECIALLY when they keep to cover.
