You could just make the Meiotic Spore Mines fearless. Then they wouldn't disolve when assaulted, but would always be instinctive.

Then obviously you need to avoid having them go instinctive!  :laugh:

Not to sound insulting or something, but seems to me that that's essentially the same thing any other commander not sporting lots of Fearless things has to worry about. Break an IG tank company and you can wipe it out with an assault where you only have to fight a single Leman Russ after all!

That free planetfalling vituperator is very scary on idea level, sadly it had no time to show it's true alpha strike.

Getting fearless for spores is maybe too good, then they have to be killed before combat resolution, because losing has no negative effects.
