That could work. Any other ideas?

Shortest to tallest? Thinnest to fattest?

Left to right or in order of the army list seem to be the best options.

Spawning per the Army list order is the best option.

I think Brood Mother might be a little too strong at 2 per Brood Mother (+6 spawned units per turn from 3 Tervigons). I think something along the lines of Brood Mother (+1) for Tervigons and Brood Mother (+3) for the Dominatrix would be better.

Well I played against this list twice (I'm the mysterious opponent often quoted in this thread) and both times had a really hard time wiping out fms. Broke them loads and they seemed for the most part fairly toothless, but whenever broken they'd back off over 30cm and just re-spawn everything (or almost everything) all over again. Smallish fms are okay as you can get to the synapse critters in a single turn, but if it takes longer than a single turn then you will never wipe fms out and, rallying at 3+ (since they'd have retreated to get more spawning) then it can feel a bit frustrating. Since most synapse creatures are fearless, then assaulting is no solution either.

The sole role of Tervigons is to be a brood mother, so if they only spawn a single extra base back then they'd not be worth taking. Having 3 tervigons would equally be a total waste, as you'd rapidly hoover all the units into that formation at the detriment of the others, and half the time simply wouldn't get to spawn anything, since per the current rules it'd likely spawn last and find nothing left in the pot.

To be fair, a broken formation over 30cm away only spawns one unit, or two if it rallies. That's hardly re-spawning everything.

But rally is before re-spawning, isn't it?

Yes, hence two units if it rallies. Hardly game-breaking.

I just finished another set of my "Old School" Unit cards for Hive Fleet Leviathan v2.1. I know this list is still a work in progress but I'm going to try out this list on the 20th and having the cards close at hand always seems to make the game go faster and better. If you notice any typos please PM me and if anyone has silhouettes of what I'm missing, please let me know.

BTW, if anyone wants one of the other nid lists done in card form, PM me. It doesn't take me very long to do up the cards, especially when all I have to do is tweak the stats a bit.

Now those cards are pretty cool. Very Hive War-ish. Very nice indeed!

Excellent work!

Typo noticed: "Harpy" rather than "Harbie" or "Harpie".
