2. Trygon to 25cm, no infiltrate and 100 points.  - Only if the Trygon gains something else to represent its ability to tunnel.

Umm... cannot understand. The stats that I proposed would be for the one that we have model. We have single model and currently two versions of the stats. idea would be to have one morel and one pair of stats.

Apologies, I thought you were referring to the VenomScreamerFex proposal of a while back... your linked stats are actually pretty representative of the model and I'm in favour of them.

Who's saying that new AA proposals shouldn't be tested?

Fluffwise the trygon should probably teleport, but that'd be a little bent ingame.

Zoanthrope AA is iffy to say the least, but should probably stay in the list until more playtesting of the meiotic spore idea (mine by the way), since it is at least currently ballanced. That said, it should definately be an overall aim the replace the zoanthrope AA with meiotic spore AA, whatever form that takes.

Yes it should, but not in a main list.

A more in-theme AA unit certainly does belong in the main list, and certainly should be tested for the main list.

The current AA Zoanthrope is (And always has been) a compromise solution that does not represent what a Zoanthrope is in either 40k or the background.

Heh.

I was just about to ask if this thread was really contributing any sort of "focus" as its name implies.

i was thinking about the Trygon and had the idea of maybe using the old IG underground transport rules.

Termite, Mole and Hellbore

Little, Medium, Massive.

They may choose to tunnel onto the board.

If they tunnel, they may appear in turn two on your own half, or turn three in the enemy's half.

You must write down where they're going to emerge before the game aka dropzones.

and thanks E&C for the help on there names and refresh on the rules.

Tunnelling was considered as a possiblility, and the rules for it are actually in the Collector's Section of the rulebook, but, again, it essentially requires that the Trygon be "independent", which I believe we are trying to avoid.

Just remembered that I'd like to put out an alternative weapon load for Hierophant. This would then be select these or the current weapons.

Pyro-Acid Spray/ Template/ AP4+ AT5+/ Ignore Cover, Forward Arc
" " " Claws/ (base contact)/ Assault Weapons/ Extra Attacks (+2), Titan Killer (d3)

Is that really neccesary in a list with an overabundance of choices already?
