The flamethrower tank is the more interesting bit for us. See how everything between the tank and the maximum range of the flamethrower catches fire?
Nothing seen of an arc of flame wich only hits the targeted area.
Nice find!
But that would be a FF, ignore cover attack... now, mount that thing on a firing platform 30 feet in the air, with an extremely high pressure pump and you'd get a different "pattern".  The flamer template is about 25cm long... isn't that almost a kilometre in EPIC's sliding scale?
Are we for keeping the rule because it's necessary or are we for keeping the rule because it's "cool"?
There are alot of rules that are kept becuase they are "cool" "fun " or "necessary" or all of the above..
Take the squat land train. It loses 5cm movement to unhook a blown up car. Why? Who knows. Fluffy and makes sense? ya.
The moment we try and abolish things that aren't necassary and only "cool" is a time where we play red army vs blue army with exactly the same gear.
Thats my take on the matter.
I'd say keep it in simply because something that has a VERY small impact on the game has already taken up this much forum space for little reason.
