Epic 2008 Handbook and Tyranid list 8.4ish Markconz variant, with some modifications to the Tyranid special rules based on feedback from Dave and Rahan. These were:
1. Instead of counting no blast markers in assaults, Tyranids never count as having more than the enemy. 2. Tyranids do their spawning/rallying in the usual sequence alternating with opposing formations rallies, and just rally automatically but do not remove all blastmarkers. 3. Broken suppresses two spawning dice, rather than no spawning at all.
In addition I decided to trial some other ideas. Specifically some tweaks to bio-titans (and still waiting to see your promised ideas on these Chroma, but seeing as you asked - here's my latest take on them for what it is worth... ). Nid List Ideas 8.4M
Also a synapse group of two tyrants that someone else suggested (I forget who sorry). In fact there were also a number of little tweaks with stats (eg Neal's CC3+ for hormis), and also numbers in brood groups that I was playing around with... However, the focus was primarily on how the special rules were working here, so those tweaks are of minor importance in comparison. I've detailed them in that pdf document above for anyone who is interested.
Also the marine player has Eldar and didn't have any of his Imperials ready except titans, so he borrowed my marines for this game.
