I was wondering how everyone bases their Lictors.  Mine are based individually each on a penny.  However I have 13 of the wee beasties, three more than the maximum the army list allows.  What more I'm planning on acquiring more gaunts and stealers (I only have 36 and 8 respectively), which means getting more Lictors and warriors.  More warriors are fine; you can never have too many synapse creatures.

However I'll end up with a couple of dozen lictors, so I'm planning on basing them 2 or 3 per base, and using 2p peaces.

So I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with too many Lictors (or is it just me?).  If so, do we need to look at their stats and points cost, so that they represent a Lictor brood, rather than a single Lictor.

I already have too many Lictors and I bought Breten's Nids from him, so I have ~11 more on the way.  I expect them to be conversion fodder and I plan to pose the ones I use for Lictors.

Well seeing that they are infantry I followed the "Max 7, min 3" basing rules and used poker chips from the Dollar store as the base.  Now if they are changed to LV I will be cheesed but it will be easy to pry them off and go from 5 to 16 Lictors :) .

Well, I think you should use them for conversions, or give them to me so I can use them for conversions.

I was thinking that their scythes would be useful if you wanted to convert a carnifex to the new style.

I was actually thinking of using them to convert 3D warriors.

I've converted new style carnies already, as can be seen by my Avatar and here is a new style screamer killer. ?I've also got a half finished sniperfex with two venom cannonsa and a half finished something fex with scything talons and devourers.

I'll probably go for two per base.

New question, has anyone ever garrisoned their Lictors?

With a 30cm charge they could do nasty things to a badly placed enemy garrison, especially with their FS MW attacks.  It could also confuse the opponent seeing them on the table from the start, rather than teleporting in.

Hi Guys,

I have my Licros based individually on 3/4" fender washers.

One each on 20mm warhammer bases. ?This was long before I got a glut of old 20mm epic bases on ebay. ?Or I would've used them, see?

Eric: the poker chip looks good as a base. ?What diameter is it? ?25-30mm? ?I might hunt around some shops here in Blighty, see if I can find any.
