Had..... used to work in a shipyard, which meant sea trials; and on remote sensing, which meant flying (and a couple of data-gathering boat trips too). Land, sea and air - been there, done that, bought the - well, no, but at least I've had a small taste of each.  :D
Back on topic - is it just me, or do you all feel this year's epicomp is producing several grand models in all categories? At least a handful of models in each category are Golden Daemon class, or if not, very close.

You're right, Van, there are many good entries this year with nearly Golden Deamon quality. That shows you how talented many of our members are. If only I were one of them.  :D

Hey, KillerLoop!  Care to fill us in on how your Bombard conversion was done?

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late response, I am just moving to a new home and don't have much spare time :(

The Bombard chassis is the MkI Basilisk hull
The mortar is from a SM2nd edition Bombard (the one with a small cabin and ammunition crain attached)

For more pics see my hp
http://epic-killerloop.epic-battles.de/ --> Diary --> Siegemasters
There are more pics from my conversions and other interestin siegemaster units.

But why no Terrain category this year?  Kind of sad to miss out on the great terrain pieces people have put together for past EpiComps.

No terrain, no open categories. CS has decided to consolidate the 3 main categories by removing these two - but there was also the prizes issue, as these depend on donations by Epicomp members, and are therefore limited. Correct, CS?
