We are rapidly approaching the time for EpiComp06.

I am thinking about starting this on 1st September 06.

So, does this fit in with everyone?

If this goes ahead on this date, is it better to delay the Tale of Epic Gamers which would run at the same time, or do people want to run both in tandem? (Entries for one would not be elligable for the other.) The other alternative is to run it as a Tale of Gothic Gamers.

I have had a couple of offers for prizes. I appreciate these, but also ask that anyone who has a donation send me a message - even if you have already done so.

Many thanks.

Woohoo! Time to dig out the brushes and paint once again methinks :;):

I'll see if I can find something usefull to donate as a prize.

BTW: Not to sound greedy or anything but what happened to last year's prizes? In the galleries it says they're still to be announced -not to mention sent off to the winners. I also offered to donate a prize last year but I never heard anything when the voting closed.

My vote would be to run both at the same time. ?It is a naughty tease to announce ToEG, line up enough ToEG participants (including yours truely, who doesn't collect BFG and can't compete at the EpiComp level :( ) and then not start it! ?Then again, if you just want to delay ToEG by a month or two (to make room for EpiComp06), and will announce the delay soon, that'll be fine too.

Many thanks.
Thank you for all of your efforts in running these fora and organizing the competitions. ?Please, please don't take my complaints as anything other than the insufficiently-caffinated ramblings of an eager ToEG participant.

/me goes off to drink more coffe

Since ToEG isn't intended to be any kind of competition, why can't some poeple use some of their produce for both?

I'm sure most won't, of course.

I can't see much overlap myself, but I'll leave it to ToEG participants to really make the call on timings - they're the ones it will affect.

Personally, whilst I am definitely going to GD UK this year, there's not a hope in hell of me completeing a piee in time since I'm now moving out that month, but if EpiComp goes on slightly after it, I have had another wonderfully silly idea..... ;)

I'd like to join ToEG, but I'd also like to use some of my units in the EpiComp.
If we are supposed to be showing newbies how it's done, I don't see a problem with this. If you are anything like me, then I imagine many of your units and armies only got painted because competitions and tournaments were looming!

So, any chance of using models in both EpiComp and ToEG?

Hi guys.

EpiComp06 will not replace the ToEG event... it may push it back, but I really like these kind of diaries and fully intend to set one up in the near future.

So far, I am not sure whether to go ahead with EpiComp06. I have no prizes at this point (beyond what I can provide myself at this time).

I am open to suggestions as to how to handle this. (Thoughts on making ToEG and EpiComp06 the same thing, with the resulting force voted on here..!)

I dont necessarily mind if people post ToEG stuff to EpiComp06 - but the intention was to promote more painting and modelling to be with Epic stuff. So, the natural consequence is not to allow units to be done for both events.

Who has entered a Titan to SG... and who intends to?

Thanks.
