Hi everyone. A bit late but here goes:

Thanks for a really well done effort with the competition and thanks everyone who voted on my army and got me to 1st place in the battleforce category, I am truly honored.

Was there someone who wanted bigger pictures to place on their website, or have i misunderstood? Please send me a mail or personal message, I?d be glad to give you some pictures.

cheers
Krax

Create a new thread in the modelling section and attach the images there.

Sorry about bumping an old thread...

I don't want to sound impatient or anything but is there any news on the prizes from this year's comp?

With Swordwind on pre-order I was thinking of placing an order soon. However it would be cool to have a rundown of what Fanatic donated so I can save a little money there! :;): ?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers! :)

You're absolutely right to chase this - I'm amazed Its been this long & sorry I havent updated previously!

I'd been using the wrong email for jervis & was thus obviously having problems getting info from him for a while.

Back in touch now though & can confirm the definite prizes:

Warmaster Nice: You'll be recieving A signed copy of the Swordwind supplement, Two Revenant Titans and the Court of the young King.

Stormseer: You'll be reciving one of each of the New Super Heavy Grav Tanks - One Scorpion, One Cobra, One Storm Serpant and one Avenger.

As soon as the first production models get to the studio, they'll be mailed to me & I'll mail them straight on to you guys.

Hopefully we'll also be getting a couple of the infantry sprues for you both as well, but I think they'll be E40K edition ones. There was a boxinthe studio I spotted last time I was up there & talked them into parting with a few for the competition - Jervis has said He'll try to find the box & send me whatever's left in it for you guys :o)

That sounds great!
Thanks again for all your trouble Tuff. I understand  that dealing with GW can be a bit cumbersome at times so I just wanted to say that your work is greatly appreciated. :;): Don't worry about the delay; there's no rush.

Cheers! :)

No worries mate.

In fairness, the delay this time around has, so far, been my fault. For some reason I started using an out of date email account for Jervis & didnt realise until last week! I'd been sending lots of angry emails asking why they were ignoring me, but I guess nobody ever even saw them!

I have to say that (assuming they come through with it all...) I've been impressed with their generosity - I wished I hadn't pulled out the comp when I heard what the prizes were to be, but they are certainly all going to well worthy winners!

I'll post if I get any more news.

I agree. Fanatic, and in particular Jervis, have been extremely generous, considering that they will get little return from these free prizes and we are a completely unofficial site (who do not always support GW!). Tuff, please pass on my appreciation.
