To those who have won prizes from the Fanatic Studio (Rulebook & Eldar Figs): I am in contact with the studio & should be recieving the prizes to send on to you all soon. However, please do be patient as these figures are not in full production yet. We should be getting you pre0release pieces out of the pre-production runs, but timing on suchthings isnt exact, so it may be a couple of weeks yet I'm afraid. Well done once again to all who entered as well as the winners. |

It might be worthwhile agreeing on the categories now prior to the full launch of the comp later in the year. I would also advise on a slightly more intense marketing push. |

Agreed on both counts. Let me get the Gothic Painting Competition up and away (very soon now) and then I will turn my attention back to Epic and sort out the categories at the very least for next year. Thanks Jimbo, for excellent effort - I know how much work this kind of thing truely is, and I very appreciate your custodianship. |

I would perhaps suggest raising the limit on photos in the 'army' catagory to perhaps two or three images per entry, as it would allow entrants to show off their models better, and make voting easier! |

About Categories, I think that Single Units should be splitted in Single Infantry/Veichle and Single War Engine |

Any War Engine entries should be submitted into the Titan or Open Categories. We can have lots of categories, but we don't have enough prizes. Personally I think the categories are fine as they are, with the Open Category being available for those entries which don't *fit* a category. |

Just to add... We can add lots of categories, but the question is does this add anything to the competition? Also it increases the workload for the organiser. |

I think the categories are fine the way they are right now. ?However, it would be great if we could submit either: 1) more pictures 2) bigger pictures 3) composite pictures - i.e., a collage of multiple images in a single JPEG. ?This way, the file size stays down, and you can show different angles of your work in one file. Alternatively, to keep your organizing work down, you could ask entrants to submit a single regular picture for the heats, with the ability to enter more pictures if the entry makes the finals. Just some thoughts, CF |
