(A side question to Jimbo: Competition guides stated that you wouldn't be compeding against yourself when the voting begins right? Otherwise I'd like to retract this post and re-submit it later.)

This will only be the case if there are heats, in which case you will have one entry in each heat.

If you have more entries than heats (eg 5 entries, 3 heats), then yes you will compete against yourself (timing is irrelevant).

If you have less entries than heats (eg 2 entries, 6 heats) then you will not compete against yourself.

The number of heats is determined by the number of entries. Because of the way voting works on these boards (at the moment) if there are more than ten entries then there will be heats.

If there are no heats then yes you will be competing against yourself.
