Submission form could easily be done on the NetEA website if that was desired, would take about an hour, maybe less.

I always preferred having non anonynous entries and seeing them as they get entered, it inspires people and reminds them the competition is on.

Me too.

Me too kind of. The downside though is that it can be demotivating when I see something so awesome that I don't want to put my humble offerings alongside it... :-[
Anonymous hidden entry might be less intimidating I think and is a good reason for keeping it.

I agree with this for the same reasons.
All we would need is a professional artist to publicly post one of his entries early in the process and it may really reduce the number of entries.

Anonymous, hidden entries are better in my opinion. As has been stated, many would be put off even trying if someone entered a masterpiece on day 1.

Just my 2p of course.

From BFG: anomynous was dropped two years ago. Names along the entries makes it better. Unless someone asks not to be named ofcourse.
As for showing entries when they arrive: No, a lot of people just do not enter because of previous years entries. And the very moment you persuaded them someone enters with an A+ quality entry...

Sometime I think it would be better if the brand-specific prizes where not categories but special awards. Like, one could enter a piece in single miniature, and be also competing for the same entry for the "Exodus Wars Best of show", or the "Onslaught miniatures best of show" Award (or Microworld, or TMG, or even GW if they want to sponsor a prize :D).

The normal categories would run as usual, but miniature makers could decide to sponsor a special prize for the entry of their choice featuring their production. I think it would make the categories easier to read and still allow miniatures makers to promote the showcasing of their production. I would even think it just to allow the miniature maker to judge for their own sponsored prize - it is less "democratic" than the usual voting process, but after all they are providing the prizes !

Of course, it's totally up to them, I'm just tossing the idea.
