Hi all, here is the place to discuss EPICOMP 2008. You can show other pics of your models here, and post your ooohs and aaaahs as the entries start coming in. No lobbying though! Meanwhile, just a spot of news: 1 - First entry in for 2008 by L-4  2 - We've just added a new category - Exodus Wars - slightly late, but there's still loads of time, so go for it! And Magnus even has a single eye! Good grief, if that isn't true to source material... Spot of news: you will hopefully have noticed that entries have started to roll in. Predictions are for a hiatus, followed by a steadily increasing rate of entries with a rush in the second half of November. Avoid the rush - post yours now! Christmas is only 3 months away! Er - I think I got carried away. On prizes - well, the prize response has been grand, but I'm still lacking some details, and as soon as I have those I'll indicate which category gets which prize. At this stage it's safe to say that the Exodus Wars and Seeds of War categories will be getting prizes from their respective ranges of models. Great thanks to all helping out. |

Detail shots of the Mounted Bounty Hunters BTW, I realize that these are currently unreleased models. Tom sent me these master casts for review a long time ago and my fingers have been itching to paint them up ever since. However if someone feels that it is against the spirit of the rules to submit these (because of the "news" factor) I will of course withdraw them. That said, I probably sound like a fanboy, but I really really love these models. One of Bob's best works to date IMO. I hope Tom gets them ready for sale soon. I feel a small Exodite army coming up...     |
