That's what I would guess, as well.

Could be the regular mk1 Bombard mortar with the loader crane and rear section removed based on a mk1 basy hull as well.

Wow some great work (just catching up on this thread). Awesome rebuild WMN! Inspiring.

Love J's guard too!! Good to see them in multitudinous quantities! Wish I could paint my guard that well.

Exellent work on the Keeper Hojyn (isn't that a Daemon Prince?). Love the sword in particular.

(Apols to anyone who's work I missed.)

Hi guys, thanks - it's nice to be back with something suitably nuts. I really would like to see the rules for this thing :p Especially the mega-torpedo and big bommz which can't be seen in this view. I'll be setting up a photobucket with a link here soon.

Anyway - TJC - it's the size of a small deployment zone  :p

Or from a different perspective, the size of something which will take WAY too much space to store.  :(

For the purists, it's got a 47cm (19") span, 11cm (4.5") height (including fins) and 17cm (just about 7") long (excluding the banners, and including the long cable-cutter up front). The number of bits this beastie has cost me is depressing, but I'm pleased with the result.
For the fluff buffs, it's a Blood Axe flier, as evidenced by the emblem on the port wing upper surface and the banners - not to mention the camo! The latter is in fact the reason why I chose BAs - although I like the idea of a red paint job, this big beastie cried out for camo.
The fluff would describe how the Blood Axes, having spotted a Manta, found the wreckage of a huge alien ship (probably Tau, or 1/72 scale WWII human - it IS a B-17G - I'm proud of you,  planespotters!), and fitted the wings to the largest engines they could find and the wreckage of their Megagargant. Most of the MegaG weapons are there - all the turrets (and some more!), the big lobba (or was it 'uge?), the Krooz missuls, the super Lifta Droppa - everything but the Death ray (replaced by a long barrelled weapon in the wings - the look of the original didn't quite fit) and the Madboy tower - replaced by a Madboy-powered weapon in what had once been the inboard port nacelle.
Big thanks to good old Cuban Commissar for his donation of Mega Gargants, and the wife, whose former dental practice donated the engines and the big bommz.  :D Not to mention the young me who never finished the poor old Fort!
