AFAIK there was no special thread, but everyone could make a thread with other pictures of the entry/entries.

Question with the whole anonymity thing: is it ok to post a picture of my model on another non-epic website to ask for feedback on it? It’s possible the odd person from here may come across it and make the connection, but most people won’t and there are bound to be a some entries it’s obvious whose they are to a lot of us anyway.

I won’t mention EpiComp specifically in relation to it, but I’d like to get some feedback on the colour scheme of the model, as it’s the first of a new 3k army I need painted by the end of January so I have to get going on more shortly.

Given that the pics can have been seen on tac-com anyway as long as it wasn't in a competition and was in the last year ( i think?) the anonymity thing seems a bit odd anyway.

I think the intention was to enter novel models that you had not previously posted; at least that's how it works with other internet forum comps I've seen.  Unknown new stuff from anonymous, and possibly unknown, people.  It's dangerous, exciting, and your long lost brother twice removed who lives in a cave in France may just win.

Posting on another forum/Facebook/personal Blog/resume doesn't strike me as cheesy if you aren't referencing the comp.

I think entries should be listed without names, but I definitely think we shouldn't take things too far and prevent people from entering models they have posted up earlier in the year. Like a 'soft' anonymity where we easily can, rather than a 'hard' / strict enforcement of it. That would be overly limiting, unnecessarily annoying for people entering and would reduce entries or people posting model photos on the forum throughout the year, none of which would be good at all. I believe the former was what was the option we went with when it was discussed before so you don't need to worry Apoc (I hope anyway).

Anonymity makes it a little more interesting but is really never going to be total anyway even if it did hypothetically have to be a model not posted up before as people will recognise model colour schemes or paint styles of existing posters. If everyone were making totally new unrelated things that may sort of work, but entirely reasonably a lot of people will enter the best model they have produced for one of their armies and if we see an awesome Khorne/Nurgle scratchbuild in his distinctive style then it's going to be obvious it's from Apoc even if it were a model we hadn't seen before.
