I was in two minds whether to enter this competition, but on complettion of this stand, I could resist the chance to post them
Its the first test stand for my little Grey knights project. Each troop is 10-14 pieces. I smashed one whilst gluing them in place on the base, but I still had my Inquisitor conversion which I've never got around to making an honour guard for, so in he popped as a substitute (with a fresh coat of paint!).
If anyone wants more details on the parts used, I'll post to the modelling forum. Anyway, here's the pic!

Damn Paul, they are amazing! You have outdone yourself once again!
I think you have one finger around that Fanatic trophy at GD 2004 right now.
Can't wait till you have done some more bits for us all to see!
Cheers
Chris

Doesn't converting that small give you eye strain or anything? Just painting this small makes my eye's hurt!
Cheers

I'm OK so far ? With all my medical problems, the one thing I am blessed with is good eyesight. People say I'll ruin my eyes if I keep this up, I say I'd best make good use of them whilst I can ?
Thanks for all the kind comments guys, I am very proud of this little stand. Now if only I could think of a way to paint the vehicles so they're not just silver blobs.......

Tuff:
That is one of my favourites from you yet, I love the dynamism in the poses. Can I ask that you upload the picture to the boards, rather than provide a link? It seems a small issue, but I want to be sure that all pictures submitted are non-changable at a later date. Thanks.

Ooops - yup, no problem! (edit) actually one problem - the image was to big, I hope its OK if I submit two smaller ones?
Thanks for mentioning the poses - that was one of my main aims, to get some movement into the pieces ?

He picked up a load at GD UK, and I wish I had, but I didn't know they had any, however at ?2 PER MARINE they are a little steep!
So that single stand cost about ?8-?10.
Cheers
